OKAY. SHALL UPDATE ABOUT MY LAST DAY AT WORK!
my initial plan was to SLACK LIKE HELL (which includes closing counter most of the time, returning items, helping friends be packer, talk, slack, go toilet, walk around the store etc.).
BUTTTTT!
MY PLAN FAILED!

okay. here's how it started. i think we went out late (cause we took a looooong time to count our money, and before that i was busy replying messages cause that day happened to be the release of posting results). we went out 15-30 mins late. XD
okay. so when we came out, this....manager/head of the security department (lets call him SO) happened to see us when we TOOK OUR TIME to SLOWLY record the fruit prices. (purposely =X)
okay. so after recording, we went to SLOWLY to wash our cloths and clean that....'water-water-thing' (LOL dunno what it's called -_-). then, we slowly strolled and that SO SAW US STROLLING.
okay. that doesn't seem bad enough, right?
NEXT, after i served one customer, i decided to clarify some doubts about the U-disc coupon with Yuchen and Yijin cause i wasn't really clear about what WX said in the cashier room.
so i went to their counters and clarify with them.
took 15-30 mins to clarify. (and it looked like as if i was chatting with them in the eyes of the SO) and he kept staring at me. -_-
okay. then i went back, he still keep STARING at me. -_-
hmmm. after that was smooth sailing and such. not much customers (YAY!) until two grannies came to my counter with two baskets filled with groceries.
i thought it was normal purchase, until:

grannies: xiao mei ah. we put our groceries here. we come back later to pay okay?
me: ohhh. okay. *puts two baskets at my cashiering area*
grannies: what time you close counter ah?
me: errrr. 3pm.
grannies: okay! good! we will come back after 12 ah. before 1. we need go fetch our grandchildren from school nearby. can hor? thanks ah xiao mei! *smiles and walks off*
me: smiling on the outside, giving a @_@ face inside.

sian. that spoiled my SLACKING PLAN!
so i was stuck at my counter from 11+ till they came back. cause i cannot possibly leave after 12 right? what if they come back? you know you know..
okay. when they came back, Sihui, Xueling and Haiqing HAPPENED to come to my counter to buy sweets and snacks. -_-
after them i closed my counter cause i had like...a basket of items to put back.
asked all the cashiers whether they had stuffs to put back before heading for 'cashier shopping'.
THENN! I SAW THAT SO AGAIN. (siannnnnn -_-) and he stared at me again. -_-
okay. since i had a basket of items, i took a really long time. partly because there were many items, and the main reason was cause i couldn't find where some items were placed at!!!
i keep seeing him cause i was walking around the store many times. not my fault okay! i just cant find the place some items are placed!
i took around 20-30 mins. =X
then, i went back to my counter, cause i felt kind of guilty. (i have MORALITY! hahaha. Weiling...tsktsk. XD)
so...after that, when i JUST opened my counter, the next customer bought SOFTLAN (you know. that softener with the lady and flowers pic) and it happened to kinda...spill out a lil from the cap.
so i had to wash my hands right? cause i will be touching cooked food and stuff.
okay. here's the thing.
I SAW THAT SO AGAINNNN WHEN I WAS WALKING TO THE STAFF LOCKER ROOM.
(ehhh. i decided not to go to the toilet cause it was further.)
and he stared at me.

okay fine. it seems like a coincidence.
NOT UNTIL HE PACED AT THE SHAMPOO/TOILETRIES SECTION WHICH WAS NEAR MY COUNTER WHEN I CAME BACK OKAY.
that made me feel super guilty. T_T (that shows that i still have 'cashier morality'. HAHAHAHAHAHA. not like ram. XD)
then MARCUS (=p) came to find me or something. went to slack when i was about to close my counter. XD
he escorted me back to the cashier room, then helped me to count my notes while i counted the coins.
okay. then i told him: ehhh. today my last day of work. i dont want fault okay! must count properly. (or something along that line)
so we counted a few times to make sure it was correct.
UNTIL:

POS machine: *receipts starts to come out after pressing 'subtotal'*
me: *prays for the two words "DECLARATION FAULT" to NOT appear*
me: *sees the receipt* SHIT! MARCUS. GOT FAULT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T__________T

okay. so we decided to not care about the fault cause maybe there's a fault of $1. which isnt a big deal. so let the chief cashiers check the vouchers and stuff, then print report.
when the report came out....

*WEIJUAN! CHECK YOUR MONEY!!!!*
me: OMGGGGGGGGG now what. -_-

okay. so MARCUS and me counted the money again. we found a fault of i-forgot-how-many-dollars. so we printed report again , happily. XD
and i was waiting for the word: SEAL!

then i heard:

*WEIJUAN! CHECK YOUR MONEY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!*
@____@

in the end, the fault was cause MARCUS mistook $5 NOTES FOR $2 NOTES! (or the other way round. forgot. =X)
fault of $50+ dollars i think. =X
SEE MARCUS! MADE MY LAST DAY HAVE A FAULT!!!!
hahaha. kidding lah. =)

and. to add on. I SLACKED MORE ON MY 2nd LAST DAY OF WORK COMPARED TO THE LAST DAY.
plan failed. cause i felt guilty after that SO paced in front of my counter, so i decided not to slack so much already. =(

that was my last day of work. returned the cashier card, name tag and stuff. =(

okay. now its time to introduce AWESOME PEOPLE AT WORK!

i still remember i talked to her cause it was the second day i reported to workplace, and all those that went to the same training batch as me HAD THEIR OFF DAYS. (how coincidental. lol.)
was super sad cause i didnt know anyone else. T_T
it happened to be lunch break for the full-timers while the rest were left to slack for 1 hour around the store.
i was just sitting at the counter area until she approached me, telling me that she couldn't find any of the equator people around cause WX wants to see all those from agencies for certain stuff. cant remember. lol.
then we started talking. and got to know that was a band member and is a FRENCH HORN PLAYER TOO!
COINCIDENTAL RIGHT?! so rare to find f.horn players you know!!!!
was super happy. hahaha.
from then on, we started talking. and we happened to have the exact same shift for the rest of December!
COOL ANOT YOU TELL ME. XD
went for lunch after our shift sometimes, meet before reporting for work, caught 'Yes Man' together with KM and slacking while going to the toilet during shift.
and one of the most memorable thing is buying Maggie after working 5-11pm shifts and going home to eat it! or sushi.
then messaging each other while eating maggie and stuff.
miss those times. LOL.
still in contact. MISS WORKING WITH HER!!
that busy NJC girl. hahahaha.
and she really makes me laugh sometimes. LOL. XD

okay. seriously, i miss working as a cashier! and most importantly, them!
if it weren't for my colleagues, i wouldn't even like work at all.
and the best thing of it all, i get to make great friends like Weiling, Marcus, Ram, KM etc. which i didn't expect.
hope we still keep in contact like they said!
didn't know i would be that close to some of them. =)
miss those days when i worked at the orange counter, where they came to 'do-my-job'. hahahaha. orange counter is really fun! BANANAS. XD
miss those maggie eating days. XD
miss those days where we would rush to catch the last bus/MRT.
miss those days where we rant about our bad days at work.
miss those days where we would laugh at funny customers.
